From the logs I thought I am doing something wrong with the certificates, but I tried with install with My own certs, Self-signed cert and the option with Let’s Encrypt. I have the same problem over and over again. I am pretty new with the product and tried to search the community for workarounds, found and tried some but the things got worse and decided to reinstall jitsi several times. I followed this guide during the installation: Self-Hosting Guide - Debian/Ubuntu server | Jitsi Meet. No one can connect to the room and the options like chat and video are not working at all.
Make sure that the nginx standard configuration isn't using port 80 because your jitsi-meet is going to need this port.I did a fresh install of Jitsi meet on ubuntu 20.04 but im facing a problem, when I create a meeting. Everything is installed and you are good to go.In a second step you should create a OpenSSH key, which happens during the installation.Just enter the correct value right there.
During the installation you are going to be asked for the hostname, ip-adress or domain.Finally we can start with installing jitsi-meet.As we got the Jitsi-repository we need to make sure all required ports are open.curl | sudo sh -c 'gpg -dearmor > /usr/share/keyrings/jitsi-keyring.gpg' echo 'deb stable/' | sudo tee /etc/apt//jitsi-stable.list > /dev/null.Now we can start the installation by adding the Jitsi-repository to our host.apt install apt-transport-https gnupg2 nginx-full openjdk-8-jdk.
